These kinds of venues are visited late in the evening — the country truly comes alive at night. For safety I brought a male companion: despite their Buddhist peacefulness, Thais can sometimes be less than harmless with tourists when easy money is on the table.

We were not interested in anything mediocre. We chose one of the most famous erotic massage centres in Pattaya — 'Sabai-Di', which means 'good' in Thai. The building alone was impressive: a vast, elegant structure worthy of a theatre — and all of it dedicated exclusively to massage. People really know how to live! :)

Inside: a sweeping lobby. The administrator seated us at a table, brought a menu and withdrew. The system is simple: guests sit in semi-darkness, sipping drinks and selecting girls. The Thai women themselves were displayed behind a large glass partition, well-lit like a shop window. I had not expected so many — no fewer than fifty beauties. I confess I was a little envious of the scale :))

We asked the administrator to explain the services. From what we gathered: the service is called 'body massage', lasts an hour and a half, and costs around $80. We would choose our girls by the numbers on their dresses, inform the administrator, and they would escort us to the room.

Virtually all fifty girls behaved as though this was all they had ever wished for. They flirted, blew kisses, caught eyes — and somehow sensed a gaze from across the semi-darkness. Pure magic.

A choice was finally made. The administrator, looking pleased, demanded a tip for 'assisting' with the selection :) We promised him mountains of gold after the massage and went to meet our waiting Thai girls.

The girls led us upstairs through what seemed like an endless corridor of massage rooms. While we undressed, they prepared the bath, adding fragrant oils. Thai women have a genuine talent for aromatherapy. The specially shaped bathtub was designed for massage. Sinking into the warm water, we enjoyed the scents and gentle touches. The in-water body massage followed — the girls slid across us with extraordinary agility, occasionally diving beneath the surface...

But that was only the beginning. On the mattresses we were treated to a foam massage. The Thai girls managed to slip between us and the mattress in ways that baffled me to this day. On the large bed that followed, we naively expected something close to a traditional Thai massage :) There was a brief attempt at one — but that was clearly not the highlight of the programme. The movements grew steadily more sensual.

To be honest: I find beautiful women attractive, but I am not inclined toward lesbian encounters. And yet — whether it was the atmosphere or the stimulating oils — I surrendered to the experience entirely and felt genuine PLEASURE.

All parties left satisfied :) For those eager to savour all Thailand has to offer, one piece of good advice: find a friendly local girl upon arrival who will serve as guide, masseuse and companion. The main thing is to treat her well — respectfully, feed her regularly, and be kind and gentle.
